Our Story

It all started with one awkward dinner bill

Reava Split was born in 2024 December when a group of friends went out for dinner in Nairobi. What should have been a fun evening ended with 20 minutes of calculation confusion and multiple M-Pesa transfers.

We realized there had to be a better way to handle shared expenses without the awkwardness and time wasted. As Kenyans who value community and togetherness, we wanted to remove the friction that money can create in relationships.

What started as a simple bill-splitting tool has grown into a comprehensive platform that helps friends, roommates, families, and groups manage their shared expenses with ease - keeping the focus on the experiences, not the expenses.
